When attempting map an Excel table using MS office plugin, however the plugin does not recognise the country name Democratic Republic of the Congo. It says there is an error.

I have tried using the following country names to try and correct the error: DRC, DR Congo, The Democratic Republic of the Congo, Congo-Kinshasha.  But nothing seems to correct the error. Anyone have a solution?

I beginning to think it is a problem with the ESRI MS Office plugin.

I am not using any plug in. I am just importing a csv file and am having the same problem. This seems like an easy fix - what name does the ArcGIS location tool use for Congo DR? Did you ever find a solution? You asked over a year ago.
