ArcGIS for Autodesk Forma supports a native sign in experience for ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise (12.1 and later) users. If you are using ArcGIS Enterprise 12.0 or earlier, please follow the instructions below to access the extension.
ArcGIS Setup
Before using the ArcGIS for Autodesk Forma, complete these steps to generate a Client ID in your ArcGIS organization.
Note: The extension has limited support for Enterprise identity provider (idP) authentication such as IWA, PKI, SAML, etc.
When using an Enterprise idP, a Client ID does not need to be created.
1. On your ArcGIS Enterprise portal, select New item.
2. In the New item dialog, select Developer credentials.
3. On the Select credential type page, choose the OAuth 2.0 credentials, then select Next.
4. On the Settings page, add https://forma.arcgis.com under Redirect URLs. Scroll to the bottom of the dialog and enter https://forma.arcgis.com again under URL. Keep other settings as default or customize as needed, then select Next.
5. Keep all Privileges settings as default or customize as needed. Select Next.
6. Grant any items access as needed or Skip.
7. On the Item details page, enter a title for the item. For example: “ArcGIS for Autodesk Forma Credentials”. Then select Next.
8. Review in information on the Summary page, then select Create.
