Introduction

ArcGIS for Autodesk Forma brings the power of geographic intelligence into early-stage architectural design. By integrating ArcGIS’s authoritative spatial data directly within Autodesk Forma, architects, planners, and engineers can design with real-world context from the very beginning. This seamless connection enables data-driven decisions, improves design accuracy, and supports sustainable, resilient projects by incorporating environmental, demographic, and infrastructure insights—all without leaving the familiar Forma environment

 

What’s new 

ArcGIS for Autodesk Forma 1.0.0, released in May 2025, is now available in Autodesk App store. ArcGIS for Autodesk Forma integrates with Forma’s cloud platform, enabling you to connect your organization’s authoritative ArcGIS data directly into your Autodesk Forma designs.
