Hi all,
I have an OSi Standard ITM basemap in my AGOL environment, I have added it to a Housing Inspection Map which I am using in Field Maps. The map opens fine in MapViewer on AGOL but it wont open up in Field Maps.
I get an error stating:
Unable to open
"You dont have permission to access this resource or perform this operation"
In the Limit Usage in the Settings for the tile layer used in the OSi Standard ITM basemap, i have added https://www.arcgis.com/apps/fieldmaps/ and https://fieldmaps.arcgis.app but I still cant open the map in the Field Maps app.
Has anyone else come across this or have a potential solution.
I seem to have hit a wall with it.
Thanks
Anthony
Are you using an Android or iOS device for Field Maps?
There is a bug that may be relevant - BUG-000180183: Secure services with limited usage using 'arcgisios' as a referrer can no longer be accessed in ArcGIS Field Maps 25.2.x on iOS devices.
The public explanation for the bug is: `app://arcgis-maps` is required to use as a referrer in ArcGIS Field Maps or newer instead of `arcgisios`.
Hi Shane,
Thanks for your reply, i am using an android device.
The basemap opens successfully in Mapviewer in AGOL but I get the error message when i open the form in Field Maps Designer on the laptop and when I try to open it via the Field Maps app on the android device.
Very strange
You might be hitting this bug BUG-000157410 for ArcGIS Field Maps
I would look at the workaround here on how to add the basemap a different way
1.Instead of adding the WMTS as an AGOL content item first, add it directly into Map Viewer when creating a new map using ‘Add layer from URL’.
2.Add the URL in the same way as before, appending the custom parameter key.
3.ArcGIS Field Maps on Android will open this web map without error.
