“Today” Button Does Not Update Time in DateTime Fields After Manual Edits

We’ve noticed an issue when using DateTime fields in Field Maps.

If a user manually edits the date and time in a DateTime field, and then taps the “Today” button, the date updates correctly — but the time remains the same as previously entered.

This behavior often leads to small errors in our operational workflows, since our field teams expect both the date and time to refresh when using the Today button.

It would be very helpful if the Today button could automatically update both the date and time (to the current system time), even after the field was manually modified earlier.

This small improvement would reduce user mistakes and ensure more accurate time entries in daily field operations.

I'm experiencing this issue as well, and it seems to only be effecting Androids. In the past, selecting 'Today' would allow the Date and Time to become current.. It seems that now it is necessary to select both the 'Today' option for the date to become current, and then reselect the date field, and then select the clock symbol, then the 'Now' symbol to get the current time. This adds extra steps, and makes it easier for user to not input the correct date/times.
