Response time is extremely slow

anyone else's form editing responding slower than mollases? It's nearly impossible to get anything done when one click doesn't respond for 15+ seconds then the next click and so on...hoping this is just a cache problem from the update last week, but it was definitely not this slow two week ago.

If anyone has tips or advice to get this back up to speed, it would be appreciated!

Big AGOL update is probably why.  It gets slow as they upgrade servers.

  • Is this still ongoing?
  • Is this happening for all users in your organisation, or just you/a subset?
  • Which browser are you using, and does the issue persist in a different one?
  • Does performance improve if you clear your browser cache/cookies?

This is still happening; it is worse in my case. I have a fully developed Field Maps form; it is quite large with many conditional expressions and large groups.

If I open it in Field Maps Designer, it loads reasonably, then simply clicking on one form element freezes my browser. I am unable to make any changes at all; I simply want to reduce the character limit on a text item.

I have tried both Edge and Firefox, does not work for either. It happed for all users in our organization when accessing this specific form. The form is still usable in the mobile app, and the data can be viewed in the hosted feature later. Clearing my browser cache and cookies did not resolve this issue.
