Offline Areas Outdated Upon Downloading

I'm experiencing some odd behavior around downloading pre-defined offline areas in Field Maps.

I have this map set up for surveying trees and the symbology of those points changes color based on a "Last Survey Date" field. This helps the surveyors track which areas still need surveyed.

We're using iPad Pro tablets for this, and looking at the online map everything looks like it should. However, we noticed one of our offline areas looked outdated; i.e., many trees that were marked as surveyed in the online map were still colored as if they had not been surveyed. Syncing the offline area did not change this. Next, I deleted the offline area and re-downloaded it, however the features displayed on the map were still outdated compared to the online map.

I haven't tried repackaging the offline areas yet, as I have crews headed out to the field. I have a feeling that may fix this and I will try it later. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this tho and may have any insight into what is causing this?

Hi @DustyJordan

This certainly sounds like you need to repackage the offline areas and start from start with creating and downloading them particularly if you have amended the original data after offline areas have been created.

Access offline edits from ArcGIS Field Maps directly from an iOS or Android device

Please provide an update if this is resolved

Hi Daniel,

Sorry for the delayed response. Repackaging the offline areas does seem to have resolved the issue I was describing.
