Some of our users operating fieldmaps, selecting a feature to navigate to, using goggle maps, the google maps navigate result is completely different location to the actual asset?
Are there settings in google maps that could apply navigate conditions that may change the selected location results? EG - Paved roads, don't use unsealed roads, etc?
Sadly, if you have used Google long enough one will find cases of locational error that are sometimes small and other times great. This will be true with any large scale navigation source. If you have the data you can now publish a locator to ArcGIS Online and use your own data as the most authoritative.
If you have a Google account you can submit feedback to the maps that can take several weeks to be reflected into the map provided the changes are accepted.
