Is anyone else running into issues with offline data collection in Field Maps lately? We work in a rural municipality where staff can easily go the entire day without an internet connection. Our setup includes a downloaded TPK package covering their full offline area, and users simply sync whenever they regain a stable connection.
This workflow works perfectly for another user in our organization, but on a new iPad Air we just configured, it’s been failing pretty badly. We constantly get “unable to sync” errors, the device often requires logging out and back in to get syncing working again, and sometimes when trying to log in, the app just spins indefinitely until it’s force closed.
Has anyone experienced something similar or found a solution?
Hi @PersonQuick
Does your device meet the requirements for the ArcGIS Field Maps App?
https://doc.arcgis.com/en/field-maps/get-started/requirements.htm
What version of the app are you trying to use?
This document might be helpful if you need to get the edits of the device
https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/how-to-access-offline-edits-from-arcgis-field-maps-dir...
Can you access the internet from that device?
Might also be clearing the app cache from the settings on the device (Settings > Apps etc) or uninstall and reinstall the app again.
