Field Maps Error: No Available Apps (MS Edge)

Background on our setup:

- ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1, set up with active directory/single-sign on

- Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro 5G (tablet is Android and a fully managed device by our company via Intune)

Problem:

- When I attempt to log into Field Maps through our enterprise connection I get the "No Available apps" message (attached). We did find a way to get around this, but want to see if anyone can help us understand why this is happening the way it is.

Here was our process:

- Open Field Maps > Select Enterprise login > Enter credentials > After I type in #code into MS Authenticator error message pops up saying "No Available Apps". It looks like a Microsoft issue from just reading it, but it shows up in Field Maps app.  I then wanted to see if I could get to Portal on MS Edge (web browser) from same tablet.  I opened up MS Edge on my tablet and was able to navigate to our Enterprise Portal,  sign in and see all my maps and content just fine.

- I then found another blog post that the person recommended clearing cache/data from Apps.  I cleared data from Field Maps tried to sign in again, no change.  I then cleared data from MS Edge app, tried to sign in and it worked!

Here is where it gets interesting....

- If I then were to open up Edge it will prompt me right a way to sign into my organization. I do that and get to my organizations home intranet page. Go back to field maps and I am still fine. However, if I sign out of Field Maps and try to sign back in, the "No Available Apps" message appears again, until I go back and Clear Data from MS Edge App.

Any ideas on why this is happening or what we can do so that these two apps can coexist?

Some additional details on our Managed Tablets:

- Edge is the only browser installed and therefore set as the default browser

- Edge defaults to our companies home intranet page when opened

- Edge account is set to the device user, based on Intune Primary User

- Signing into Edge with a different account is blocked (this and the prior, would relate to Favorites/shortcuts sync, etc.)

- Saving passwords in the browser is blocked

- Splash screens in Edge are disabled

Any insight is appreciated!

if possible install chrome in the workprofile, that worked in our environment with a comparable setup, edge did not get the things it needs, i don't know why
