Attempting to use contingent values on field maps to provide more concise domains to operatives when filling form in related table to store inspections on an asset.

Contingent values span across three fields. The answers of field 2 depend on the answer from field 1. This means field 2 could be irrelevant depending on field 1. In this event I want to apply conditional visibility so that if field 2 becomes irrelevant (due to field 1 being answered as X) then field 2 is no longer visible.

Currently setting a conditional required or visibility clause on individual fields in a contingent values group breaks the field maps form when accessing through the field maps app.

Has anyone got experience with this?

Updating this as I solved it. Contingent values cannot have a conditional "required" expression (as they are required by default due to being conditional values). They must only be controlled using conditional visibility.
