Hi

I have Field Maps based on a map which has a point layer which was originally uploaded as a geopackage and in that process converted to a feature layer. My field maps work perfectly apart from when I try to take offline.

In the Offline section - I get a warning message that "the layer is missing a global ID field and cannot be taken offline"

The layer already has a global ID field with the name of "globalid"

The "Enable sync" button has the following error "Unable to update later - check the layer settings and confirm that you have the privileges to make changes"

The layer has all the correct settings.

Any suggestions please ? Many thanks

Can you bring the layer into ArcGIS Pro and ensure all the settings have been applied for taking the layer offline and republish?

When trying to take the layer offline is your basemap in the same coordinate system as the layer?

When do you see the error "Unable to update layer"? Is it from the item settings or in the Field Maps Designer?

I second bringing into ArcPRO, if able. Make sure to run the 'analyze' check before publishing. This should warn you if GlobalIDs are missing and help you easily assign (if needed). This will also tell you if you have a coordinate system issue and allow you to correct before 'publishing.'
