While trying to pack in a lot of data into a MMPK, I made use of Display Filters, Scale-based sizing, and Scale-ranges with Alternative symbols to great an efficient map for viewing all this data. It made sense to develop a smart and efficient multi-scale map for use in MMPKs that are loaded into Explorer for ArcGIS because of the less powerful hardware that must run these MMPKs on small screens. They also provide for a better user experience.
However after developing these, I discovered that Display Filters, Scale-based sizing and Alternative symbols do not work in MMPKs. Only Scale-ranges work. The former also do not work in web maps in AGOL.
Is this functionality on your Roadmap for implementation within the ArcGIS Runtime and Explorer for ArcGIS?
