I have recently been training a group of colleagues how to use Collector in the field collecting ecological data and they all asked where the dynamic field bar was. It is a feature that we'd been used when using Trimble's Terrasync app and is a very useful tool for orientating yourself in relation to any target features on the map and it enables you zoom into a specific scale. We're often working in relatively featureless landscapes and really need to be able to see the map scale to be able to gauge relaitive distance. The meaure tool doesn't real provide this same level of usefulness and functionality.
