We have a series of Google Slate tablets that run Chrome OS and Android OS apps in the same environment. We are using the Explorer app on the Slate and it works pretty well. However, after some time all the maps disappear. Basically the only thing we can see is who's logged in and some settings. I have to manually clear the app's cache, which hangs around 1.6 Gb, before we see the maps again.
I have 2 questions:
First, is 1.6 Gb of cache data considered a lot? The guys are using the aerial basemap features, if that makes a difference.
Second, is there a scheduled clear cache functionality Explorer should be using? Otherwise, I'll have to ask my guys to occasionally clear the cache manually.
