Selecting Features and then Exporting Associated Data?

Might be a simple answer that I can't seem to find, but what I want to do is select multiple points from a layer and be able to export the associated data (ID, name, address, etc.). Using the Select Feature tool doesn't seem to be able to provide this functionality. Anyone know of any gadgets or steps to enable this? Thanks.

Has anyone found a way to do this?  Seems like this would be a great gadget.
