I am new to Arcgis online.  I want to automate the selection of an address when I pull up the Lake County, Florida GIS map. When I click on th elink for their map, this is what the brower shows when it pulls up their site:

http://www.arcgis.com/explorer/?open=f6b81d3d14544595a3f35b43dfc44706&extent=-9234891.68130634,32612...

My understanding is that I can pass the URL encoded address to the website by this code: &find=615%20N%2E%2014th%20Street%20Leesburg%2C%20FL

However, if I add this find string onto the end of the first URL, it seems tojust ignor it.

Can someone tell me how to get this to work?  Thanks!

Hi Sandy,

Here's a link to the helpfile topic listing parameters that you can pass to Explorer Online:
http://help.arcgis.com/en/arcgisexplorer/help/#/Open_ArcGIS_Explorer_Online_from_hyperlinks_or_the_c...

Threre's no Find parameter supported - I think perhaps you have found a parameter that the ArcGIS Online map viewer supports? I'm afraid that currently the list of supported parameters is not exactly the same, additional parameters are supported by the map viewer that are not yet supported by ArcGIS Explorer Online. So you can try using the Find parameter with a hyperlink to the map viewer instead perhaps?
