I'm trying to advise a non-gis user about which application offers more options. I've done some studies of both apps and think that Explorer offers more menu options, like querying. However, ArcGIS.com is newer. Is ArcGis.com meant to replace Explorer online? I'd really appreciate any comments or opinions about which app offers more options. Ken
Your right Allen, the slideshow really shines in ArcGIS Explorer online. But if you have a organizational account you can even add interactive maps to your power point slides which is pretty neat.
The ArcGIS .com feature editing capabilities pale in comparison to ArcGIS Explorer Online. The table-of-contents in ArcGIS Explorer is much more user friendly, intuitive and modern looking than the ArcGIS .com Java version.
