I'm having a small workflow hitch when I want to add some features with customized symbols (hotspots) on the map. Here's what I do:
1. Click Create Features.
2. Pick a default symbol like Stickpin and add it to the map where I want.
3. Click Change Symbol.
4. Customize the symbol. For instance, pick that blue circle in the upper left corner and make it red.
5. Click Create Feature Template. Name the template how I want. For instance, Hotspots.
6. Add some more Hotspot features to the map.
When I'm done, all the features have the Hotspot name in the layer details (and as a tooltip) EXCEPT the very first one I added and customized. That one is just called "Point." I can rename it by editing its popup, but that's not the most intuitive solution. I'd like to be able to rename features on the Layer Details panel, but I don't think I can. I'd especially like it if when I create a new template, the feature that the template is based on is treated like it was made from that template. Or at least that I have the option to treat it that way. If that makes sense.
