Well, all sounded simple enough, just click where you want your points and your area, line length.... is given.  Not mine though, I clicked where I wanted to start my line and the point started about two inches to the left of my curser.  So, I tried again but used the 'area' tool and the same thing happened.  It seems like my points are not calibrated with the curser.  Help Please.  Thank you kindly,

I have to say I've never seen behaviour like this with ArcGIS Explorer Online before. Can you tell us what browser are you using, and what version of that browser, to help perhaps narrow things down? You could also try using a different application that uses the ArcGIS silverlight map control (e.g. samples in the interactive SDK at http://help.arcgis.com/EN/webapi/silverlight/samples/start.htm ) and tell us if you see the same behaviour in any of those samples?

Thank you for your efforts Shelly.  I came back to the site the next day and all worked well as it does now.  Weired.  Again, thank you.

Very odd, good news that it's working again anyway, thanks for updating.
