Is there a way to apply a feature template to a feature that already exists? For example, I have some text features I created with properties I don't like anymore. I created a new template with properties I like. I'd like to be able to select those features and apply the new template to them.

Hi Timor,

There is no way to apply a new feature template to previously existing features.

I would love to know if this is possible. For other reasons though. I am trying to add attributes to existing features and the attributes will vary from a set of features to the next. And I believe if I could apply the feature template it would solve this problem.

Hi,
I can confirm that this is not possible to apply a feature template to a feature that already exists using the current version of ArcGIS Explorer Online.

timor - we are planning on making improvements to feature selection and symbolization in a future release (no timescale at present though) which may help you.

codybrown - please can you elaborate on your workflow so i can get a clearer picture of what you are trying to do? Are you talking about features coming from a ArcGIS Server feature service?
