Suddenly all my users start nagging that Explorer is going too slow ...

What happened? I think it has to do with bing maps server...

Please help. I have 1500 build installed...

It is confirmed, i have bing maps download too slow at Northern Greece area. That causes Arcgis Explorer to load raster data (tiff) also very slowly.

I cleared basemaps so we could use Arcgis Explorer.

Is this in both 2D and 3D or specific to one or the other?

We work in 2D always. In 3D things are even slower...

I would think that any slowness with the bing data would be due to bandwidth or bing servers.  If you changed your map to use a coordinate system other than webmercator auxillary sphere, that will slow it down too, as the tiles are re-projected on the fly client side, which adds an extra step.
