quick question: what are the prerequisites for the 'Get unique values' button becoming active? We have many Service Layers users want to be able to query in the same way as they would in ArcMap.
The button's there, it's just always greyed out - which is odd, because in the documentation service layers are explicitly mentioned; as it the ability to get all unique values.
'Get unique values' only works for local data sources. It is not supported for services. Interrogating the service for the unique values can be a costly operation for the server and the client. There is no option to turn it on for services.
