Layer Package from ArcView 9.3.1 displays differently on different systems under AGX

Over the past few months, I've been producing Layer Packages and distributing them to management so they can look at these layers in ArcGIS Explorer. We all have AGX 1200.
It's a layer of point features that I've symbolized with an 18 point pink circle. I right click, "Create Layer Package..." and it saves successfully. When I open it in AGX, I get this...
When the person requesting the layer opens it up, he sees this...
Has anyone seen anything like this before? Am I missing something during the creation process?
