Hello,
I am a student researcher at LMU, and I am fairly new to using GIS 10. I am working on a project where I am mapping out precincts on a Topographical or Open Street Basemap Map.
I am having trouble mapping the precincts. I already have the precinct addresses and my data on Excel Worksheets, but I don't know how to map this data on a Topographical or Open Street Basemap Map. What approach should I take to map out this data?
I am in dire need of advice as there are no GIS specialists at LMU for me to ask questions. I would appreciate all input.
