NEVERMIND!!!

There appears to be a bug in AGX online. When adding ArcGIS services, the URL appears to be case senstive.
That is to say:
http://<myserver>/ArcGIS/rest/services works but http://<myserver>/arcgis/rest/services does not.

Please can you provide some more information on the issue you're having. Regarding case sensitivity, both

http://sampleserver3.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services

and

http://sampleserver3.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services

should work in ArcGIS Explorer online.
