connect to sde

Hi,
I'm trying to connect to ArcSDE geodatabase, getting failed error
I have installed the following on my PC:
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5
ArcGIS Explorer Data Access Expansion Pack
still can not connect
Any idea? help?
