COLLADA model (dae) adjustment issue

Hi,

In what projection the COLLADA model should be created to be visualized correctly in ArcGIS Explorer? I mean, aligned to reality, to the map.

The anchor point of the model is geocoded in kml (wgs84), dae needs to be modeled in metric coordinate system (in meters). As I understand then ArcGIS somehow transform the model to the wgs84 system and displayed it. I am wondering how it happens.
I was trying to use Transverse Mercator/Gauss-Kruger with center meridian = anchor point, and it seems that this is the best one but not ideal. In huge models (hundreds of meters) mismaching between displayed model and footprint in shapefile is visible. This is not big mismatch, I think in centimeters, max 50cm. But for adjacent models it does not look very well - footrpints touch each other but between models there is a gap.

I hope there is an answer for my question.
