Hi

Does someone know if I could install Arcgis Explorer on a server, as the user can open it without installing the application on their PC.
Why this question? => because the application is too heavy for their computer.

Hi,

Due to the graphics intensive nature of ArcGIS Explorer it will not run in a remote desktop session and you are unlikely to get a good user experience running it over other remote display technologies such as Citrix or WTS. If installing the application directly on end user's machine is not an option but they are always online you could consider looking out for the forthcoming ArcGIS Explorer Online mentioned in this blog post: http://blogs.esri.com/Info/blogs/arcgisexplorerblog/archive/2010/02/18/new-releases-of-arcgis-explor... and as seen at the recent Dev Summit.

Regards

Mike
