ArcGIS Explorer error upon exiting program

I've just installed ArcGIS Explorer (build 1500) and every time I exit the program, either by the x in the top right corner or using the ArcGIS Explorer button and selecting exit ArcGIS Explorer I get an error message:

ArcGIS Explorer has encountered a serious application error and is unable to continue. If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost ....Please tell ESRI about this problem.

I've tried uninstalling the program and installing it again and still get the same error message every time I exit.

It doesn't seem to alter anything in my map or template but the error message is becoming obnoxiously annoying.

Any help/ideas greatly appreciated.

Did you ever find a solution to your problem?  I have the same problem in 1500 and in 1700. When I close the program it gives me the error.  However, it also does it when I try to select an Add-in to download...but it closes itself.

anything particular you are doing in the map? Any add-ins running? GPS enabled? GP tasks executing?

No. There are no add-in running.  It happens whether I click save and then close or just close without saving.

Linda, you should get a crash dump file, save it and attach it to this forum. I can take a look at it.

PS:  This is the crash dump file that I get when I try to use "Add-ins".  It would not let me attach the .dmp file so I changed the file extension to .doc.

Just an update, once I installed the new ArcGIS Explorer build 1700 I no longer get the error message upon exiting.

I get the same error message when exiting 1750 although I have downloaded the software on to many other computers in the office and they don't have this problem.

I have the same problem with 1750 new version. Any suggestions ???
