Widgets Open at Bottom of Screen for Mobile-Sized Layouts

This may be a silly question, but I'm hoping there's a way to alter the default widget opening behavior for mobile-sized layouts in ExpBuilder. For tablet or desktop sizes, widgets open in a sort of popup, whereas it seems they're set to open at the bottom of the screen for mobile sizes.

In my attached screenshot, I open a legend widget (really just an image with a picture of a legend since the real legend widget is particularly lacking) and you can see it opens at the bottom of the screen in some type of sidebar thing by default.

This is only the case for widgets in the mobile screen sizes, and I assume its intentional, but there doesn't appear to be a setting anywhere to alter this behavior that I can find.

So, my question: is it possible to alter the default opening behavior of widgets in mobile-sized configurations to stop them from all opening at the bottom of the screen?

Ideally they would behave like they would in a tablet or desktop screen size.

@JoshBerna The widgets will appear in this way for small screen by default when widgets are placed inside a Widget Controller. There's isn't a way to opt out of this behavior.

You might be able to use buttons and an anchored window with the widget inside the window to create a different behavior, but there may be some limitations tied to this too.

Thanks for your reply, Alix. I was afraid that was the case. Perhaps I'll move this question to ideas in hopes one day we may be able to alter this behavior.
