Sharing an issue encountered with the Utility Network Trace Widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder — wondering if others have seen this or if there is a known workaround. Env: ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5/ArcGIS Pro 3.5.3/Utility Network 7.

Issue:
When configuring the "Utility Network Trace" widget in Experience Builder and attempting to select a Map data source, the web map does not appear as a valid/selectable option. After some investigation, found out the web map in question contains layers sourced from an external Enterprise Portal (a different  ArcGIS Enterprise deployment).

Testing with a web map that contains *only* layers from the local Portal's UN feature service, the map is recognized by the widget without any issues. The problem appears to be specifically related to the presence of the external layers.  The External layers are setup to authenticate fine, the behavior is that only that 'UN Trace Widget' has issue as it sees external layers in the WebMap

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a web map that includes UN feature service layers from the local Portal AND one or more layers added from an external Enterprise Portal.
2. Open Experience Builder and add the Utility Network Trace widget.
3. Attempt to select that web map as the data source for the widget.
4. Observe: the map is either not listed or the selection doesn't stick, and Trace configurations don't show up in the widget.

Questions:
- Is this a known limitation — i.e., does the UN Trace widget require all layers in the web map to originate from the same Portal where the app is hosted Or is this a bug worth logging?
- If it is a limitation, is there an workaround ?

@AlixVezina or Esri team — any guidance from you or the community would be greatly appreciated!

@aperi

I did a couple of tests and didn't run into any issues:

1. Web map with UN, feature layers from local portal, and one feature layer from a second portal.

2. Web map with UN, feature layers from a second portal, and one feature layer from a third portal.

Note: All three portals used for these tests are 11.5.

Can you think of any additional information that could help us reproduce the issue you're experiencing on our end?
