Time Slider for Map with Hosted Tile Layers?

I have an AGOL web map with a series of hosted tile layers which each represent imagery of the same area taken at different times.  In this web map, I have configured each of these tile layers to represent a period of time.

Then I've configured the time slider on the web map.  It works nicely, with each of the tiled layers appearing/disappearing as expected as when scrubbing through the time slider.

Now I need to include this map in an Experience Builder app with the same time slider functionality.  However, I cannot find any way to make this work in Experience Builder.  If I add a time slider widget to the app, I get the warning:  "The selected Map widget does not contain any time-aware web map or web scene."

Additionally, I need to do the same thing with a series of 3D 'Scene Layer - mesh' layers in a web scene and Experience Builder.

Is it possible to use a Time Slider in Experience Builder that works for tile layers and 'Scene Layer - mesh' layers?

UPDATE: The same map and time slider work fine in Instant App.

The Time Slider in Experience Builder does support tiled imagery layers. Would you mind sharing a sample dataset or service URL? That would help me better investigate the issue and determine whether any enhancements are needed. Thanks!
