Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had any practical help / guides for using Utility Network data as a subtype group layer in Experience Builder. I really want to take advantage of being able to make fewer calls to the server, but most of the widgets, filter, query, edit etc will not work with Subtype group layers. I thought that perhaps I could configure the widgets to a non-subtype group layer, but it does not really work.
Anyone managed to get this to work? or is it too early to use Subtype group layers right now?
Thanks,
Ben.

Hi @LindseyStone,
Map Layers widget supports subtype group layer. I couldn't reproduce this issue. It works well on my end. Could you use this web map to have a try?

@Ke_Xu I can't get logged into that site. I have tried this group sub layer in Online, Developer Edition v 1.16 and Portal 11.3 with the map Layers. Below is a screenshot of what I'm seeing in the Custom Layers window in Map Layers. The Dimension layer and Dimension_ExpSubtype are set up as Subtype Group layers that I have published via Pro on my Portal. The Dimension_Exp NOT Subtype is adding that layer not as a group layer to my Pro Project. As you can see only the NOT Subtype is showing in that Custom layers.
Hi @LindseyStone,
The Dimension_ExpSubtype layer is not showing in Exb. Maybe it is the same as the BUG-000173271.
BUG-000173271 Unable to access the data that includes subtypes when publishing it as a map image in the Experience Builder Developer Edition version 1.16 while the 1.15 version works fine.
Solution:
A patch for ArcGIS Experience Builder (Developer Edition) version 1.16 has been released.
The patch package can be downloaded through this link: https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-experience-builder-sdk-resources/tree/master/patches
Thanks,
Ke
@Ke_Xu I had found that patch and installed it and same results. Just to emphasize in the live version of the app and you use the Map Layers, the subtype layers are there and I can interact with them. Where I cannot interact with them is when I'm in edit mode and click the Customize Layers button within the Map Layer Properties window. I see all the layers except for the subtype layers.
