Spatial Query on Exp Builder not returning same results for users using Intersect setting
In the language lookup app I created in Experience Builder I used a spatial query where the user can draw either a point or a polygon on the map and the results should be those data polygons (either census tracts or school areas) that intersect the drawn poly. At first I used the Intersect 'spatial relationship rule' setting, but then when internal users said the results returned ALL of the data items instead of just those that were partially within the drawn polygon, I switched from Intersect to Within - same user result.
What is really weird is that the app seems to function correctly - only showing those records that partially fall within my drawn polygon on the map - for me, either in live view of the mobile layout (on my laptop) or on my phone after scanning the QR code from saved/published app and logging into AGOL.
Some users assured me they were re-signing in to AGOL to access this app (I haven't published to everyone yet) each time I asked them to test, so am thinking that caching wouldn't be the issue..(?) Not sure if this is a glitch in app or if I have some setting wrong...Posting pics of settings and my/user results.
6/2/25 Update - I've gone ahead and changed the Sharing to everyone, and 3 testers so far say the app is working correctly in terms of the query tool/spatial selection with a polygon. Not sure why that would change this functionality though; but happy it seems to be working... Here's the app in question:
