I'm looking to use a custom print template for the print widget.
This template would be based on a layout.
How would I go about setting a layout as a print template?
It seems I need to configure a print service but I'm not sure if I have or how to access an arcgis server which seems to be necessary in configuring a print service.
Would it possible to implement dynamic text in the template?
In the templates already given in the widget you can edit things like 'title', could something similar be done for a custom template?
Hi @ShengdiZhang ,
You are looking for ESRI Default Print Service URL?
Hi @krantiYadav75 , From my testing, this feature works as expected in Enterprise 11.3. The issue may be related to the print service. Please check the print service—Export Web Map Task—to see if the parameter Layout_Item_ID is available.
Sorry @krantiYadav75 , I’m not sure what’s causing this bug, as it works fine on my end. Could you please reach out to our Support team so they can help investigate the issue further?
@ShengdiZhang Could you please reference the Bug ID?
Hi, I'm afraid there is no BUG ID to reference. I'll respond to this post once the bug has been fixed.

When do you anticipate this bug to be fixed? I'm finding that when I use a custom print template and the default ESRI print service the creation of the print layout fails often in ExB. I was hoping that being able to use our own print service would make the layout creation in the print widget more reliable for our users.
Hi @ajohnson, This issue only affects the default print service in Enterprise 11.4 and 11.5, where the option to select a custom layout item is missing. If you use a custom print service, it is not impacted by this bug and will work as expected.
This bug will be fixed in Enterprise 12.0. I'm not quite sure about your second question, the bug is in Experience Builder, not the server.
