Results from my Query Widget are added as an operational layer (a partial solution for how WAB adds query results with the option to rename and overwrite each time or add as an additional result layer). The idea is that the queried layer can be turned off and the results are printed without clutter. Unfortunately the Query results do not appear on the printed output. Similarly if the results are added to the map via a Data Action (or both Operational Layer and Data Action) they don't print either. Has this always been the case - I don't recall noticing this before. Is this the intended functionality, because this is a significant drawback for us.
Incidentally, the ability to add multiple renamable search results to the layers panel would also be very useful.

More info: The Query results will print if I use 'Custom Symbols', but not if I use layer defined symbols!
Hi @AndrewSpencer ,
Thanks for pointing this out.
However, when I tried to reproduce the bug, the print failed. I think I've come across a different bug.
Could you send me a sample app so I can try to reproduce your bug? My username is she10946.
Thanks,
Shengdi
Hi @ShengdiZhang ,
Thanks for your reply. This app is publicly accessible: National Overview Web Experience. The Query and Print Widgets are in the widget controller. Query results are set to use the layer symbology.
Thanks
Andrew
