Number of Files issue

Hi ExB Gurus

I am building a few applications for a customer using Experience Builder Dev Ed version 1.12. These apps are to be hosted the customer's Azure Static Web App space, which is apparently limited to 15000 files per app. With v1.12, the app had approx. 9000 files and folders. I have upgraded the apps to ExB 1.13 and am finding the number of files in the app has increased dramatically to 21000 files and folders. 

Can anyone explain the dramatic increase in the number of files going from v1.12 to v1.13?

Is there some way to reduce the number of files deployed in the app?

The customer is going to want these questions answered before they entertain any changes on the Azure front.

This is an expected change, the reason for this is: in previous versions, we used ESM to import some modules, and these modules are compiled into one file. From 1.13, we use AMD to load these modules dynamically, so more files are in the release package.
