Hello Community!

I’m a Product Designer, and I need to add Microsoft Clarity tags to my pages in Experience Builder.

The problem is that when I insert an embedded element and paste the tag, it works. However, if I leave the embedded element covering the entire screen, users can’t click on any of the information. When I move the embedded element to the background, I stop seeing any data on Microsoft Clarity.

Is there another way to solve this? Could you guys help me?

I need to conduct a UX test.

When you say moved to the background, do you mean something renders on top of it?

I've not used MS Clarity before, I have used some other tools for UX work, and I don't remember them being embedded into a product, so I'm not sure if I understand your specific use case.

Integrating analytics tools like Microsoft Clarity into Experience Builder can definitely be tricky. I have faced similar challenges where embedded elements interfere with the app's interactivity. It seems like the current setup treats the embedded tag as an overlay rather than something running silently in the background. Maybe a solution could involve placing the Clarity script in the site's underlying HTML template if possible, or using a custom widget that handles the tag separately without blocking the UI. Curious to hear if anyone else has a workaround specifically tailored to Experience
