Perhaps this would be better done in StoryMaps, but I'm looking to have a text widget that, when scrolled, filters the symbology of the map. Not totally dissimilar from StoryMaps Sidecar, I suppose, except that I don't want to mess with the symbology of the Web Map outside of the application (which is why StoryMaps won't work for me).
I can find several sources that read the "Text" widget of ExperienceBuilder allows this, if you assign it an action and trigger. However my Text widget doesn't have the option to assign it actions, so i'm unsure where that info is coming from.
Am i glossing over something here? I know it was possible with the now deprecated "MapJournal" app, but I can't find a similar 1:1 with any other app. Which makes me think it must be a user error, because that feature seems so essential lol.
I appreciate any advice.
Hi @sgilmore ,
The Text widget doesn't support message action.
Please try using the Section widget and Views Navigation widget. Switching between pages cannot be done using the scroll bar; you have to click on the View in the Views Navigation widget.
Thanks,
Ke
