Filter Toggle Click Outside Toggle Button

In ExB in AGOL I have filters set as default on with toggle buttons. They will rarely, if ever, need to be turned off. However, I have noticed that clicking the filter area outside the toggle switch turns off the toggle. This is very annoying as, after selecting from the dropdown list, that is the logical and normal place to click to close the dropdown. This is strange, and I've never seen it before ... is it new? Any way to avoid this?

Hi @DarraghOSullivan,

It is by design. The reason for upgrading our Switch component is to meet the 508 compliance requirements. It requires federal agencies to ensure that their electronic and information technology is accessible to people with disabilities.

Thanks,

Ke

Thanks Ke, I understand the importance of making things accessible but this seems counter-productive. Every single user I've spoken to has told me they keep accidentally switching filter off when they click away from the drop-down lists.

I can't find any way to avoid a toggle or activation button but keep the icon ... am I missing something? That would solve the issue ... just give the option for filters to be always on. Might this happen?
