Experience builder widget without UI

I would like to develop an experience builder widget which is just a button in the map.

This widget when activated, will let the user click in the map and then perform a request to server.

We achieved that in web app builder. is there any equivalent in experience builder ?

Yes, it is possible to build a custom widget in Experience Builder Developer Edition that only displays a button.
