Hello! I am new to experience builder, I am trying to set me search tool up too zoom too the address selected and have a pop up show information about the location, like the evacuation zone it is in and if there is a evacuation status alert. I would appreciate any help or guidance with this!

Wondering if you found a solution to this?

Seems very odd that the ability to have a popup off of your search results would have taken this long...

I just figured out how to get a pop-up with your search results.  You need to add the Feature Info Widget under the Widget Controller.  I then set up a separate Search Widget ( I deleted the one that was a default on the Map when it was set up)

First Trigger is "Record Selection Changes." I then set up the following actions:

1.) Map (Zoom to)... I did custom and set the scale I wanted.

2.) Map ( Flash)..... I used the my Address file for the Trigger Data, and Action Data was my parcel boundary. I set a Trigger/action connection using number address only (this was only thing that was working & I was Ok with it.

3.) Widget Controller (Open Widget) then selected Feature Info.

So with this, I can type in an address in the search bar. Once I select the address record I want, the map with zoom to the address location, flash on the parcel and a window will pop up with my information I want to display (it's only 1 feature - Santa Parade Day in this case).  Next I am wanting to have the parcel stay highlighted, not just flash, so I will see if I can figure that out next. Hope this helps.

I believe to do this you have to turn on the "Auto Select the First Result" checkbox under Search Results.

In WAB the ellipses would appear on the pop up window with navigation for directions to the location.  How do you build or configure this in EXB?  See screenshots.Screenshot 2024-05-16 at 6.05.33 AM.pngScreenshot 2024-05-16 at 6.11.25 AM.png
