In experience builder I'm trying to create a search widget from a layer source (cadaster) in two steps:

First searching features by one field, than searching by another field. the outcome should answer both fields.

You may be better served with the Filter widget. Create a filter that requires user input.

Then select New Filter and the And option. And create a second filter.

You should get two user inputs and the final result of the filter must represent both inputs, if both are being used.

The problem with this solution is that it's filters all other features. Also there are two many steps before it focus on the solution, and in my organization some users will find it difficult to use.

I wonder how come there is no solution for such a basic need.

I have the same problem. Searching by one field - name, and than by another - number in as less steps as possible. No filtering, only selecting. And to show as many suggestions as there are, not only 6 or 10.
