Hi, I’m trying to build an Experience in ArcGIS Experience Builder where selecting a feature from a List will keep that feature clear, and mask/dim everything else on the map.
Right now, it’s doing the opposite — it is masking only the selected feature instead of masking everything except the selected feature.
I already duplicated my layer and set the action/filter logic. I just need help figuring out the correct way to apply an inverted mask effect in Experience Builder so the selected feature stays visible and the rest of the layer is dimmed.
Where exactly do I enable the “invert mask” effect for the layer inside Experience Builder? I am not finding the mask/visual settings location.
Any guidance or screenshots appreciated. Thanks!

Here is a guide for creating a layer that dims when filtered. It looks like your issue is with your layer order. You need to go to the Web MapViewer and rearrange the layers so that the dimmed version of the layer is below the version that is filtered.
