Experience Builder Histogram Selection to Trigger Filter on Map

I am trying to figure out how to make the Histogram Chart option within Experience Builder be able to trigger the corresponding map data to be filtered based on your selection within the histogram. This type of trigger action seems to work on most other Chart types I have tried out, but I cannot figure out how to get it work for Histograms.

I have the histogram created and it looks great, but the only options on the trigger values are "OBJECTID", "Min value", "Max Value", or "Count" (so just the pure values displayed on the Histogram):

These obviously don't directly correspond to values within the data on the map, since they are aggregated to make the histogram.

I was hoping to recreate an action similar to how Histogram charts work on ArcGIS Pro, where your selection is reflected on the map, but I cannot seem to find a way to configure the Experience Builder Chart Action settings to work for this Chart type.

Does anyone know how to get this to work?

Thank you!

Hey Daniel, I am running into the exact same issue. I have a histogram built with 15 different sections representing ranges of values. When selecting a bar within the histogram, it does not select the features within the map view. Definitely would like to see this functionality fixed!

Also, not sure if you have already, but I would like to go ahead and submit a case for this with ESRI Tech Support. Would you care if I reference this post in the details?

Brandon,

You certainly can! I am probably going to do the same later this week as well. If you do hear anything new before then, could you reply to this post with an update?

Morning Daniel,

I have submitted a case for this and am currently talking to one of my contacts in Professional Services. I will post back if I hear anything! Thanks for the collaboration!

@Daniel_Hood ,

Thanks for your feedback. The feature you are looking for is not available currently. We will try to enhance the message action in future.   So far, what you can do is maybe develop your own action with developer edition. https://developers.arcgis.com/experience-builder/guide/core-concepts/message-action/

Thanks for the reply! I'll be taking a look at this as well. Daniel, if you figure something out that works before I do, would you mind sharing?
