I have multiple elevation surfaces including an elevation ground  surface layer and two other raster layers containing groundwater surface elevation values under different scenarios.  I would like to create a stacked profile similar to how the Stack Profile 3D Analyst GP tool works in ArcGIS Pro.  It seems that the Elevation Profile widget in Experience Builder as well as in the Exploratory 3D Analysis Elevation Profile tool in ArcGIS Pro is limited to only displaying one layer at a time in the profile graph.  Is there a way to show multiple elevation surfaces in a single Elevation Profile graph [on the same axis] using this widget or by any other method in Experience Builder or the Elevation Profile Exploratory Analysis Tool in ArcGIS Pro?

This is how the tool currently looks with only one elevation surface layer (ground surface elevation)

I would like to produce something like this

@ChungBuiMinh You can use the elevation layer to show a ground elevation and also display the profile for another elevation layer using a mesh/scene layer. Enable Volumetric objects under Profile Settings:

Sample: Elevation Profile - Volumetric objects - Overview (arcgis.com)

You'll still be able to display selected and intersecting features on top of that.

Is this what you are looking for?

Hi @AlixVezina, I've already sent an email to you. Please help me check. Thank you so much.

@AlixVezina can you advise why there isn't a plan to implement multiple elevation sources on a single profile graph, when it appears to have been implemented quite simplistically here: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-javascript-maps-sdk-questions/elevation-profile-widget-experien...

We would like our users to have the functionality in the OOTB experience builder widget, but to be able to export to CSV and view profile line statistics for the ground elevation source.

Also, is it possible to use the profile widget in a 2D map with an image service (with LERC compression) as the elevation source?

@David_Brooks We understand that support for multiple elevation surfaces is needed and will be working on it as soon as possible.

Yes. See Elevation Profile widget—ArcGIS Experience Builder | Documentation

Is there any chance of creating something like this with any of ESRI's products, where a profile of the groundwater elevation is shown in relation to the ground surface? @AlixVezina

@AdrienneAiken Using a web scene and a scene layer, you can enable Volumetric objects in the Elevation Profile widget.

Right now you would only be able to view one scene layer at a time compared to the ground elevation.

I just wanted to provide an update regarding this request, as I am aware many of you are looking forward to this.

Right now, we need to make important library updates to the widget for the upcoming February 2024 release.

This means this enhancement will be considered for the June 2024 release.

Would also very much like to be able to simultaneous profile multiple elevation layers in AGOL and in Pro. Does terrain mapping using drones in earthworks projects and would really like to have the ability to compare multiple elevations layers. Both as a tool for our selves but also for non-GIS clients to have easy functionality to follow how earthwork is progressing. Having repetetive mapping of the same location, a profile tool with multiple elevation layers, would also offer a valuable functionality to assess the precision inbetween multiple drone mappings. Please promote the development of this feature for both AGOL and Pro.
