I have an Experience Builder application that's not behaving as expected.
I have the settings for the Editor widget configured on my layers to allow updates only. However, when the editor is opened for a given layer it reports that the form is 'Read Only' and allows no edits whatsoever.
Editing is enabled on the layer, and with the same account I can commit edits in the map for the application, just not the Experience itself.
This was discovered after troubleshooting the issue where the owner account could in fact do whatever it wanted even though adding records was disabled.

@JeffreyThompson2 Fair enough. It's just a little embarrassing: I had both a) been looking at it through the account that owned the data, so permission weren't honored correctly (I don't feel that bad about this....it's a pretty dumb behavior in my opinion; and b) I had forgotten to publish changes when I looked at it from a testing account.
And I'll claim the points.
Disregard - user error. I want to delete this post since I figured it out immediately but can't seem to figure out how.....
