Data centric widgets into section with views navigation

Hello,

I am a new user of Experience Builder here.

I am on ArcGIS Online and have created an experience using the new 'Tab' template. The template replicates the sidebar instant app.

I would like to add more data-centric widgets to the sidebar. I can add a new view but can't seem to add the widget to that view as the section box does not appear.

The template already has 4 widgets in the 4 views, to begin with, but I would like to add more and can't seem to find a way to add more widgets to more views. 

Not sure if I am missing something extremely obvious.

When using a Template, you need to first unlock the Layout before you can make more than superficial changes. This trips up a lot of new users.

The lock layout has been disabled, Still cannot seem to find a solution...

I re-read your question. Sorry, it was a bit more complicated than I first thought.

I fired up the Tab template and took a look. Your problem is that the Sidebar is collapsed and there is no button to open it. Activate the Sidebar Widget and find the Collapse Button. You should now be able to open the Sidebar and put your widgets in there.

Turn the Collapse Button back off when you are done.
