Choose input style button not appearing in SQL Expression Builder

I am attempting to add a 'Filter' widget in my ArcGIS experience builder app. I would like to have a dropdown menu for one of my attributes where users can select which attribute to display on the map. However, the 'Choose input style' button is not appearing. Is there a way to restore this an alternative way to add my aforementioned feature? I have attached screenshots.

For the button option, you first need to set the Select Source Type value to Unique.
